Unbalanced load error - the current load in the washer is unbalanced inside the tub; Ur (unbalanced load retry) means the washer will add water, try to balance the load, and attempt the spin again, which extends the cycle and is not a fault.

United Kingdom

The load in the drum is unbalanced - not a fault; the appliance detected an unbalanced load and stopped the spin for safety reasons.

What to check first

  1. Make sure the appliance is on a flat, stable surface;
  2. redistribute the washing by adding or removing items to create a more balanced load;
  3. add 2-3 additional towels for single large or heavy items and run another spin cycle.
