What does DC mean?

The dishwasher powers on but won’t start or stops shortly after pressing Start (door-related fault).

What to check first

  1. Open and reclose the door firmly without slamming, remove protruding utensils or pan handles, clean the latch tongue and pocket, ensure the door is not obstructed by counter overhang or cabinetry, and power-cycle at the wall/breaker for over 30 seconds.
