LE Samsung Washer Error Code

Also shown as: 1C, 11C, 1E, 1LC, LC, LC1

Inspect first

Water level or leakage error.

What does LE mean?

Moisture is detected somewhere it should not be, or there is an issue with the water level sensor.

Common causes

The manufacturer support page points to these conditions for this code:

  • A kinked, bent, or pinched hose
  • A blocked, kinked, or incorrectly installed drain hose or standpipe
  • Too much detergent, which produces excess suds
  • Water collecting where it should not be (a leak or the base tray filling)

What to check first

  1. Look for evidence of a leak (small leaks can go unnoticed);
  2. check that the supply and drain hoses behind the washer are not kinked;
  3. run an empty cycle with no detergent or additives and watch for suds (suds indicate too much or non-HE detergent).

When to call a professional

If no suds appear and the code continues after these checks, request service.
